The evoVIU offers the possibility to use all possible C-mount lenses with different focal lengths. The maximum aperture and the working distances differ depending on the manufacturer. The advantages of C-mount lenses are obvious: they are very easy to change and offer an enormous variety.

A comprehensive Ethernet interface with up to 1 Gbit is available for connection to your existing company network or your system. The connection is made via an industrial M12 X-coded.
Use the evoVIU in locations where no communication facilities are available or accessible. Either connect to a WiFi router or create an access point yourself to which you can connect. If you need help in these areas, please feel free to contact us. We also offer a battery system. Mobile connectivity via LTE and 5G-mMTC will also be available soon. With the Loxi1-X lighting board, VIU has taken its first step in the multi-physical measurement of component carriers. For image processing, this offers the possibility of selecting from any number of individually adaptable lighting schemes to ensure optimum illumination of the test object. The declared goal is not only the manual adjustment of the light with readjusted auto-focus, but at the same time our idea for “AutoLight”. A self-developing understanding of the camera integrated into “machine learning” for the optimal lighting conditions of the component. This is initially ensured by the additionally integrated time-of-light sensors, which recognize and process the position and distance of the wearer. The Loxi-LED is individual and can be extended at the same time. Currently, the optimal wavelengths for each test object can be used from ten different LED color variants without changing the camera position or settings.
You don’t have to worry about compatibility when mounting your evoVIU. Depending on your environmental situation, either the Site Docker or the Top Docker offer a suitable solution. The further use of ball joints also makes it easy to set the correct perspective. If neither docker is suitable for your application, there is also the option for a customized attachment. Just talk to us.
The Top Docker of the evoVIU is compatible with screw-on plates and individual mounting system. The distances of the threads are 38.5 mm on the short side and 58.5 mm on the long side.
The Side Docker of the evoVIU is compatible with the mounting system of Springer GmbH. The distance of the threads is 38 mm.
A wide range of settings can be made via the display, independent of the application software. You can also get information about the status of your camera.
