VISIONWEB provides easy and intuitive camera management of your evoVIU. Solve simple Machine Vision quickly, easily and live with the help of evoVIU VISIONWEB. VISIONWEB is accessible from any browser and without installation. Access your camera directly, adjust your image and choose the way you want to process it.


VISIONAPI is your interface to cloud computing or your preferred automated control system. Using the HTTP-Rest API, the camera can be integrated into all web and software applications easily and without much effort. You can use it to control all hardware components of your camera, set the image settings or read out environmental data. Detailed documentation for all commands can be found on your camera.


With the evoVIU smart camera, your captured images can be sent directly to cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. Further processing can be made using AWS Lambdas and Azure Functions. Scale the performance of your Machine Vision.


Behind evoMAVIS is the Machine Vision of evoVIU. Included are libraries of algorithms or AI teaching sets that can be applied in custom programs or workflows.

In the Image Source Sector you can adjust all the settings that affect your image. Set the acquisition mode, brightness, focus or the image format that’s right for you. In total, you have more than 50 customization options!

Let there be light!

Use the web interface to adjust the brightness of your image. The VISIONWEB can also be used to control the hardware – such as the light – of your camera. The right settings can detect characters or contours that make the difference in the end.

Choice of recording

You can choose between four recording modes. Decide whether the image should be captured manually, continuously or after a trigger.

Custom Routine

The Custom Routines are user-specific programs that can be used to solve various Machine Vision tasks. The selected algorithm for accomplishing the task is thereby associated with an image acquisition configuration. At the end of the processing you will receive the result of your image analysis, which you can process with the help of connections. Currently, the captured images can be stored, codes can be read out, the degree of lens contamination can be determined, weld seams can be checked and texts can be read out.






OCR Routine

OCR example

With the help of the OCR routine, characters of your components can be read out. Even if you are not a Machine Vision expert, you can quickly and easily set Machine Vision parameters via the web interface to help you read the characters.

Barcode Routine

The evoVIU also provides algorithms for reading barcodes. Simply take a picture, set the necessary parameters and automate operations.


In the Connections Section, you can choose how your images are saved and processed. You can choose from various endpoints in the areas of automation, network, hardware and cloud. If your desired connection is not included, please contact us.

Cloud Upload

Via the Cloud Connection you can choose to send your images directly to the cloud. The evoVIU smart camera offers modern interfaces for connecting Amazon AWS S3 as well as Microsoft Blob Storage.

Data transfer via FTP

Store all your images on an FTP server to access them at any time.

Software Update

With just a few clicks you can update your VISIONWEB software at any time. No complex installations and no special know-how are required. You also have two options for updating, which are briefly explained in the videos below.
